This project was my first semester project at Noroff. The brief asked for a brand development or a redesign of an existing brand. I decided to create Fruibs from scratch. The brand design should include four design elements and a brand style guide. The design elements needed to be printable.

Soda can label

Logo design

One of the printed elements I made for the brand was a brochure that would be used to present the brand to retailers and event-holders.

The focus of the brochure is to present the brand feel and include enough information about the unique qualities of Fruibs as an all natural sparkling soda.

The illustrations are an essential part of the brands overall look and feel. I used negative space in the illustrations to highlight the light feel of the soda.

I started the logo development by sketching. I wanted a wordmark logo and played around with different fonts and adjustments before working out the final logo design

Poster

The second element I created was a commercial poster that could be used to promote the launch of the product. I focused on capturing the viewer with the headline and the sodas design.

For the semester project the second year, the brief was to create a social awareness campaign with a unique touchpoint. Inspired by my life as a first-time mom I decided to create a campaign to encourage parents and caregivers to reduce their own screen-time in the presence of children.

Less screen, more seen
Grade: C

The logo is bold and strong to support the campaign look and to serve as a common element in the other design elements. The logo should be easy to read from afar and the bold font and colors are important to ensure this.

Process

Illustrations

I wanted the campaign to have a feeling of personality and everyday life. I created illustrations based on situations that most people could relate to. It was important to me to focus on emotion and facial expressions to achieve the objective of the campaign.
